Of all Ray Bradbury’s work I have only ever read Fahrenheit 451, but that in itself had a profound effect on me so I was sad to hear when he died this week. His writing had a sense of humour within a sense of dread and is summed up nicely by a great quote:
I’m not writing to describe the future or predict it, I’m writing to prevent it.
